We had a blast there, one of the best groups we’ve djed for, and were able to play all kinds of music including ska, roots reggae, merengue, funk, soul, indie, early 80s hip hop, and classic rock.  Here’s a partial listing of a few of their choices and our recommendations as well:

2. Let’s Get Lost – Elliott Smith
3. Sugar Magnolia – Grateful Dead
4. How Sweet It Is – Jerry Garcia Band
5. I Walk the Line – Johnny Cash
6. Like U Crazy – Mates of State
7. Float On – Modest Mouse
8. Boots Are Made for Walkin’ – Nancy Sinatra
9. Mrs. Robinson – Simon and Garfunkel
10. Sound the Alarm – Thievery Corporation

Here are a few more photos from Studio 450 last Saturday, the name of the artist who the Irish dancers performed their dances to is Barefield. It’s actually a group of 20 students in their mid teens from a school in County Clare, Ireland performing traditional Irish songs.
