We were Hispaniola Restaurant in Washington Heights Saturday night for a reception. One really fun thing about having the opportunity to share music with people at different venues is also being able to try out the food. If there was ever a restaurant to consider if you are having a smaller reception, 40 or 50 people, this is a great place. Especially if you have people coming in from New Jersey since it’s 2 blocks from the GW. The food is amazing, every single course was excellent, very friendly and helpful staff and just an all around 4 star place. If you want to go out for drinks after hop on the A train a block away and head downtown. I’ll post the slideshow tomorrow but for now here are few photos, there is a downstairs bar/lounge area and upstairs the restaurant.

This is the slideshow from Pochron Studios in DUMBO from last weekend.  It’s a great space and a nice choice for receptions on the smaller side.  Will post a partial playlist in a few days but here is the slideshow. 

We were at Pochron Studios Saturday night for a reception. These photos (except for the ceremony one) are from the early part of the event/ setup to give you a sense of the layout of the space,in the first photo you can see the view from the patio of the Manhattan Bridge and then the third photo facing towards to space from the patio.
