Here are the photos from Bubby’s in Dumbo from a reception we dj-ed there. It was a Cuban-American wedding, great crowd, and we played salsa, Cuban son, rumba, merengue, vintage rock and doo-wop, ’80s pop, and new R & B and hip hop.

Been listening to some of the shows on Brooklyn Radio.net, found some cool, different types of music on there.  While I’m not the hugest fan of dub I do like Horace Andy and the reggae infused Thievery Corporation tracks.  Our Father, Our King by Subatomic Soundsystem fits into this style.  Check it out.

We had a busy weekend with three events booked, Friday evening was Bubby’s in Dumbo followed by a Donna Karan fashion show in the Hamptons on Saturday, and a reception in Glen Cove on Sunday.  There are a bunch of photos to post, will start with Bubby’s hopefully tomorrow. Below you can see a photo of the remnants of Hurricane Bill on the Island over the weekend, a heavy rainstorm which gave no drizzly warning, and we were djing outside!
