Here are some tracks pulled from playlists from Arabic events we’ve dj-ed.  There are a range of tracks here from more uptempo dancing to cocktails to more traditional Arabic songs.  Lebanese artist Nancy Ajram is one of the most popular singers in Arabian music and Alabina modernizes traditional Arabic songs with a latin flavor.  DJ Nader has some amazing Arabic remixes as well which are not on Itunes but you can find them on Amazon. This is by no means a comprehensive list just a sampling of some Arabic music and is not necessarily specific to any one country (Morocco, Algeria, North Africa, Lebanon, etc.).  There isn’t any arabic house, more uptempo electronic dance music or newer arabic pop music on this list, will post that one in December.   For now here is the Itunes playlist.   For more in depth articles on Arabic music please visit the articles here.
