Picked up a copy of Vieux Farka Toure’s The Secret by Six Degrees Records over the weekend. Overall another solid album with beautiful guitar work and some nice collaborations with Derek Trucks and John Scofield. I like his music as is, the collaboration with Dave Matthews felt a little flat, favorite tracks are Wonda Guay, The Secret and Aigna. Pop matters has a great write up on the album.
