Here is the photo slideshow of the Alger House from Saturday night it's a former carriage house converted to a duplex type loft with one end customarily serving as the ceremony area, and the other end as the bar/ cocktail/ dance floor area near the stairs descending. The tables are usually moved into where the ceremony is during cocktail hour and the capacity is 100 people. If you're looking for a convenient location to both the trains, west side highway, Holland and Lincoln tunnels and New Jersey and are having a smaller sized reception, Alger House is a great choice. There are so many nice wine bars/ restaurants within a couple blocks that going out afterwards is a breeze.

Alger House photos, layout
October 6, 2009
We dj-ed two receptions over the weekend, Saturday’s was at the Alger House and Sunday’s was at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. Haven’t had a chance to go through all the photos but here are a few from the Alger House where you can see the different angles of the main room. Will post the event photos over the next couple of days in addition to a new roots funk playlist.
