Here are a few photos from a Korean/ American wedding we dj-ed two weeks ago at the Foundry in Long Island City. The Foundry has a beautiful ceremony space as well which is a nice option if it looks like it's going to rain. Long Island City is a great, less expensive alternative to Manhattan when considering which venue to have your wedding at. Here are five recommended locations we’ve dj-ed at. The Foundry is a great space, it used to cost $4500 to rent but the price has gone up to $6500. The Riverview Restaurant is one of those places where you get the best of both worlds, amazing food and ambiance with a bar and dancefloor separate from the restaurant area. If you have guests that would just like to chat and have a glass of wine and still have a bash on the other side of the restaurant it’s completely possible. The Metropolitan Building is nice, it’s important to have the right lighting and decor there as there are a lot of potential combinations for setup. The Water’s Edge has an amazing view of Manhattan and also has a ferry service into the city for the after party.
