Here are a few photos from The Music Hall of Williamsburg from Sunday night.  Love that place, turning a rock club into a reception is such a great idea, especially for people who want something a little less formal or more original.  The lighting, stage, sound system, layout and location allow you to really open it up and do something different.   The ceremony is on the stage and the dance floor in the middle is in front of the stage.  For instance you could hire ceremony musicians and have them be up on stage with you during the ceremony and mic’d throughout the whole club. Or, if you hired a band, they could be onstage for the reception portion and turn your wedding into a full on concert. The cocktail hour area is up on the second floor in the bar section and there is one additional bar on the main floor, and a 3rd one in the basement. By the way if you are at all a fan Camera Obscura will be playing there November 22nd…
