This blog will include recommendations for some of my favorite music from all over the world including funk, soul, reggae, latin soul, salsa, merengue, trip hop and electro jazz. I'm always picking through compilations, stacks of records, collections etc trying to find those gems that I want to share with others when djing in New York City or wherever. There is so much amazing music out there I figured it would be nice to create a guide without any outside influence. Like most people I want to find that one place that always makes great recommendations (like KCRW). I'd love to hear from other djs, music aficionados, etc. in the New York City Area.

djnyc in November '07 of New York Magazine

We dj-ed an event summer of '06 at Banchet Flowers in the West Village.
