We were at the Queens County Farm Museum on Saturday for a reception. Love it there, so easy going and being the last farm in the five boroughs it’s definitely worth checking out. You can see more photos from last summer, the setup was a little different in terms of ceremony and cocktail hour.

Lower East Side Loftworks announces its first annual benefit/fundraiser to celebrate and support local independent music. Bill Morrison (Ridge Theater/ BAM’s recent Lightening at Our Feet) creates a digital landscape mixed to live music. DJNYC after-dance party. A bathtub of beer & a Raffle… prizes, e.g. free signed Elysian Fields CD, a private yoga class, a music lesson with Ed Pastorini & MOMA & movie tix.
Winter Garden event – 07-01-08

We stopped by the Winter Garden on Tuesday to check out the River to River festival. We didn’t end up staying too long, while I’m a huge fan of roots reggae and dancehall, dub and drum n’ bass doesn’t quite cut it for me. It was awesome though to see the visuals on such a huge screen and the possiblities for future shows there is amazing. Here are some photos and a quick video clip…
